About the author

Michael Moreh Maskil

Michael Moreh Maskil is a student of the scriptures and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His books grew from many years of searching the standard works and the words of latter-day prophets, a study he says changed his life and set his feet more firmly on the covenant path.

He writes as a fellow traveler rather than an expert: a man on a spiritual journey who does not claim to have every answer, but has found enough to share. Every page he writes is meant to point to Jesus Christ.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Printed books

How long will my books take to arrive?

Every book is printed on demand, just for you. Printing takes up to 10 business days. Your books are then shipped together by ground service, and you'll get an email with tracking when they leave the printer.

Where do you ship?

Throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories, and APO/FPO military addresses. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, the territories and military addresses costs more and takes longer, usually 12–20 business days. We don't ship outside the United States yet. Readers anywhere can buy the digital editions.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is added at checkout, once for the whole order. Books in one order ship together, so adding more books doesn't add another shipping charge.

What's the difference between the full-color and black & white editions?

Each book comes in two printings. The full-color edition prints the Savior's words and prophecies in red, along with the color art and accents. The black & white edition prints every page in black and grey, shows the Savior's words in bold instead of red, and usually costs less. Most book pages show the same page in both printings so you can compare.

Can I send a book as a gift?

Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient's name and address as the shipping address.

What if my book arrives damaged or misprinted?

We'll replace it at no cost. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. You don't need to send the book back. Because every book is printed to order, all sales are otherwise final, and an order can't be cancelled once it has gone to print. See the full refund policy.

My tracking hasn't moved. What should I do?

If your tracking shows no movement for 10 business days, contact us and we'll help locate or replace your order.

Digital editions

Which books have digital editions?

Every book. Nevertheless Thou Mayest Choose and The Thing About Cracked Screens are free to download on the Free Books page, with no account or checkout needed. Every other book has a digital edition for $9.99: choose Digital edition under Format on the book's page.

What formats do I get?

One purchase includes all three formats:

  • EPUB: for Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play Books, Nook and most reading apps. It also works on Kindle through Amazon's free Send to Kindle.
  • Kindle (MOBI): for older Kindles loaded with a USB cable.
  • PDF: laid out page for page like the full-color printed book. Best for a computer or tablet, and for printing pages.

The free books come as EPUB, Kindle (AZW3) and PDF.

Which file should I use on my device?
  • iPhone, iPad or Mac: the EPUB, in Apple Books.
  • Android, Kobo, Nook or Google Play Books: the EPUB.
  • Kindle or the Kindle app: download the EPUB and send it to your Kindle with Amazon's free Send to Kindle. It then appears in your Kindle library on every device. For an older Kindle you load with a USB cable, use the MOBI file.
  • Computer, or to print pages: the PDF.
How do I get my files after I buy?

A Download your files button appears as soon as checkout is complete. The same link is in your order confirmation email and on your order status page. Your files are prepared for you at that moment, so allow a few seconds.

Can I download them again later?

Yes. Your download link doesn't expire and has no download limit. Keep your order confirmation email, or use the order status page, to download again on a new device.

Why is my name in the book?

Each digital copy is personalized for its buyer. Your name and order number are printed inside the book, and the file also carries a hidden digital watermark. In the PDF, a small line with your name appears at the top of each page. This lets us offer the books without restrictive copy protection, so they open freely on all your devices.

Can I share my digital copy?

Your copy is licensed for your own personal use, so please don't share, post or resell it. If someone would enjoy a book, they can buy their own copy here. The free books may be shared freely.

Can I print from the PDF or copy text from it?

You can print pages for your own study. Copying text out of the PDF is turned off. Screen readers and other accessibility tools still work.

Can I buy a digital edition as a gift?

Because each copy carries the buyer's name, a digital copy is best bought by the person who will read it. For a gift, consider a printed copy shipped to them, or share a link to the free books.

Can I get a refund on a digital edition?

Because each digital copy is made for you when you buy, digital sales are final. If a file won't open or something looks wrong, contact us and we'll help.
