Jubilees, 1 Enoch (the book quoted in the Epistle of Jude), Psalm 151, the Wisdom of Solomon, Tobit and the Prayer of Manasseh, arranged in timeline order with timelines, maps, notes to the standard works and Book of Mormon parallels.
Kept whole only in Ge'ez and lost to the West for centuries, Enoch's visions and the retelling of Genesis in Jubilees are read here beside the Book of Moses, where latter-day revelation restored a record of Enoch's ministry. Every book is footnoted back to the standard works, and commentary marks the doctrines they share with the restored gospel and the places they part ways.

“In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”2 Corinthians 13:1
For more than fifteen centuries the Ethiopian church kept books the rest of the world let fall. Enoch and Jubilees survive whole only in its ancient language, Ge'ez; others it has guarded beside its Bible from the days of the apostles.
This first volume runs from the Creation to the exile of Israel: the heavenly tablets of Jubilees, the visions of Enoch, the shepherd song of young David, the Wisdom of Solomon, faithful Tobit in Nineveh, and the prayer of a captive king.
This work grew from a hunger to understand more of the scriptural word and to seek out more of the word of God. Yet it rests on a conviction: these ancient books are best read with the standard works open beside them. When the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price, the witness of the Spirit and these old texts agree, we may read with greater confidence. They are offered to augment, never to replace, the revealed word.
New and public-domain translations in the order of the times they describe, with timelines and maps, notes to the standard works, parallels from the Old and New Testaments and the Book of Mormon, and the author's commentary.

Full color or black & white?
Each book comes in two printings. The black & white edition prints every page in black and grey, at a lower price. The Savior’s words and prophecies, shown in red in the full-color edition, appear in bold. This book has no color photographs; color is used for accents only, and those accents print in grey.
1 Enoch is also at the heart of Resurrection. See how the Watchers of Enoch shape the days of Noah in the long war between the Lamb and the adversary.
This volume is one of three. See all three volumes of Books from the Ethiopian Bible, and how they were kept in Ge'ez for fifteen centuries.
