From the council in heaven to Cain and Abel, the story of Adam and Eve told through the Book of Moses, the Book of Abraham, Genesis and Isaiah.
The story is carried by Abilene, an imagined ministering angel who was there: in the world of light before the Creation, at the council where Lucifer rebelled, in the garden on the sixth day, and beside our first parents on their first night in the lone and dreary world after the exile from Eden. Vivid and powerful, his narrative lets you feel what the scriptures describe. It is printed in browngrey and marked as fiction from the first page to the last.
Ancient accounts such as the Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan, the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Jasher add color of their own. Each is set apart, marked with a symbol naming its source, and weighed against the scriptures, so you always know what you are reading.

About this book
This book follows our first parents from the world of light before the Creation, through the council in heaven and the fall of Lucifer, into the Garden of Eden, and out into the lone and dreary world, as far as the offerings of Cain and Abel and the generations that followed.
The spine of the work is scripture: the Book of Moses and the Book of Abraham, with Genesis and Isaiah from the King James Bible. Ancient writings such as the Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan, the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Jasher are set alongside, labeled, and read in the spirit of Doctrine and Covenants 91.
Abilene, the narrator, is an imagined character. His story is labeled as fiction throughout.
